UPGRADE YOUR AVG TO 8.0

As many of you who have AVG FREE 7.5 Installed on your computers will have realised the new version is now available.  If you click on the prompt within the AVG pop-up windows this will direct you to the paid version.  If however you wish to stay with the FREE version follow the instructions below.



** It may be an idea to print out these instructions **


There is no need to uninstall your earlier version, this will happen automatically during the upgrade.

  1. Firstly click HERE and select AVG FREE from the list of downloads
  2. Click on download and select save
  3. Save the file to your desktop
  4. Once the download has complete double click on it to launch the setup
  5. Follow the on screen instructions (the default settings will be fine)

Once the installtion has been completed you can then click on the AVG icon and 'tinker' with any setting you feel would better suit your system.

Should you have any problems feel free to call us as we can complete this process for you over the internet or if you are in our  service area we can arrange to call and get you sorted.
